Brian Lenny

Research Assistant

Brian Lenny is a Research Associate at MEF with a Master’s degree from Washington University in Genomics and Genetics, where he discovered his passion for applying rigorous data analysis to solve meaningful problems. He previously spent three years at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a Bioinformatics Analyst, studying cardiotoxicity in childhood cancer survivors. His technical expertise spans data processing, statistical analysis, and research methodology, making him deeply equipped to support evidence-based decision-making.

As a proud Memphian, Brian is passionate about uplifting the community that shaped him. He attended Memphis public schools before earning his undergraduate degree at Rhodes College, where his commitment to local impact deepened. His educational journey continues to inform his belief in equitable access to high-quality learning experiences for all students in Memphis. Outside of his professional work, Brian enjoys playing soccer, exploring the outdoors through camping, and attending Memphis Grizzlies games.
